The aim of our action is building a group of Swiss specialists in the exploration of Mars and bringing together all those interested, around this nucleus. We strive to spread the most relevant information and comment on them, either via the Internet, on the blog “exploration spatiale” hosted by Le Temps, or in the context of conferences, or through contributions in the media. We do our best to facilitate exchanges on the subject and to convince Swiss decision makers of the strong interest of this exploration.
The exploration of Mars brings together multiple interests, especially considering the prospect of manned flights. They range from astronautics to waste recycling, including geology, exobiology, architecture or medicine. This exploration is an important user of micro-technologies and robotics, fields in which Switzerland excels.
